Q1. What is the cost of a solar plant?

On an average the cost of 1 kW solar power plant is INR 48000/-.

Q2. Is there any subsidy in solar?

As per PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, the Central Government will provide substantive subsidies directly to people’s bank accounts and heavily concessional bank loans to ensure that there is no cost burden on the people.

Q3. How many units of energy per day it may generate?

It depends upon solar irradiance of the location, nationally avg. irradiance is 4.7 kWh/m2.

Q4. Is it grid connected or off grid?

Either of them. In case of EPC and grid connected in case of RESCO.

Q5. What is the net metering system?

Net metering is a billing mechanism that credits solar energy system owners for the electricity they add to the grid.

Q6. Battery system is required or not?

Yes, only in case of off-grid solar plants.

Q7. Is Solar Plant hazardous?

No, the way a solar panel works is completely safe and does not create any hazardous or toxic fumes, gasses or waste. The only by-product of a home solar energy system is cheap, clean electricity.

Q8. How much savings will I have?

Significant savings can be achieved. It goes beyond 50% of the energy consumption bill from DISCOM.

Q9. Can I insure my system? Will you help me?

Yes, national insurance company or other private companies provide the adequate insurance coverage.

Q10. Will I get a bank loan? Will you help?

Yes, Bank loan is available. We help the clients with the necessary financials and the detailed project report(DPR) for availing the bank loan.

Q11. May I avail EMI for purchasing solar system?

Yes or no. Company decision will prevail the facility.

Q12. What are risk of EPC project?

The type of risks are as follows: >> The consumer bears risks in case of system failure, the components replacement and warranty claims have to be managed by the user per se. >> If the solar plant under-performance is to be borne by the User. >> PV solar cells can be damaged badly during sever whether conditions.
